Veterinary Clinic of Tinley Park was founded in July 2008 by Dr. Cynthia M. Cecott with a clear vision for the kind of veterinary care she wanted to provide. After working in other practices, Dr. Cecott knew she wanted the flexibility to practice veterinary medicine on her own terms, allowing her to focus on quality care and meaningful relationships with clients and their pets alike.

One of the things Dr. Cecott values most about owning her own clinic is the balance it allows between practicing veterinary medicine and raising her family. That duality shaped the neighborly atmosphere that owners experience when they visit.

When you walk through our doors, you’ll often hear friendly conversation and laughter among our staff. Many of our clients are greeted by name at the front desk, and we love watching pets grow alongside the families who care for them. Personal connection is what makes our clinic feel less like a business and more like a neighborhood gathering place for pet lovers.

Our team believes that every dog and cat deserves thoughtful attention and expert care. Whatever your reasons for visiting us, we approach every appointment with the same dedication we would want for our own pets.

Dr. Cynthia M. Cecott

Veterinarian & Owner

Dr. Cecott graduated from Iowa State University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. She completed a one-year internship at The Central Hospital for Veterinary Care in New Haven Connecticut. After completing the internship, she returned to the Chicagoland area and worked as an associate vet at three different small animal clinics. She has now opened her own clinic as the primary veterinarian and has worked in veterinary medicine for 31+ years. She enjoys working with all animals and the people who love them.
